I had been working on this piece off and on a work, but I ended up running out of red thread, and never got around to finishing it till now. I got some seriously weird looks from my co-workers for attempting needlepoint at work during the slow spots.
The black fill in the raven was created from water color pencils, which smeared with some water. It's not the most permanant fix, but it's rare if my pieces get thrown in the wash, WHICH they have and thankfully, my skills have proven worthy enough to last through the wash without disaster.
